FINISHES

Wonder Woods finishes all products in a durable double lacquer finish for both paints and stains. We use the very best materials. An array of 23 standard paints and stains are available. Please contact us for a color deck. Standard sheen levels are a semi-gloss.

CUSTOM PAINT AND STAIN MATCHES

For optimum paint match result please provide a physical sample or a small quantity of the actual paint. A paint manufacturer's paint color sample will work, but it is not as good as a physical sample.

For stains, a physical sample of the stain or a color card is required, as stains take differently on various woods. Unfortunately, a wet or actual stain product will not work.

We use a semi-gloss sheen unless otherwise requested. Wonder Woods will provide a finished sample for approval prior to manufacture.

There is a surcharge for a high gloss finish. Dark paints such as maroon, forest green, etc., and dark stains like mahogany, walnut, cherry, etc. will have a double match charge.

SPECIAL ACRYLIC FINISH

Wonder Woods can provide a special finish to prevent fading from severe sun exposure. The acrylic finish also demonstrates increased moisture resistance. Perfect for windows near a sink or bathtub. This moisture resistance meets kitchen cabinet standards and is available in paints and stains. A surcharge applies.

FIRE RETARDANT FINISH

Authorities in several states require a fire retardant finish for certain types of environments. The Class A and Class B fire control finishes are available and are letter certifiable. We use a product from Flame Control Coatings. A lead time of roughly 8 weeks is needed for multiple coat applications. This finish is available in paints and stains. Custom matching is possible in this finish. A surcharge applies.
